If you’d like to make it even easier for visitors to find your HugoFox page you can connect it to your own domain name. Below is a simple, step by step, guide to configuring your domain name so it links to your new HugoFox website.

Step 1 – Log Into your Control Panel:
You can access your Easyspace control panel by visiting http://controlpanel.easyspace.com.
Your username and password were sent to you in your welcome documentation. If you do not know your credentials please click the “forgotten password” link.
Step 2 – Select your domain name
Select “Domain Management” from the left hand navigation or “Single Domain Management” from the main screen.
Select your new domain from the drop down and click the “green arrow”
Step 3 – Configure Website Forwarding
Expand the “DNS Settings” menu
Click “Launch DNS Tool”
The DNS management tool will now launch
Click on the “CNAME Records” tab.
Click on Add Record
Input the name of your CNAME Record in the Host Box and corresponding Domain in the Domain box
Host : www
Domain : cname-customsite.hugofox.com
Click on Update:
Your New CNAME Record will display in the A Records Tab, Click Save to make the changes official.

Once you have made the changes, simply get in touch with us, and we’ll make the necessary changes at our end to finalise the transfer of your domain name!
Please keep in mind that the changes you have just made will take anything between 24 and 72 hours to be fully configured, so don’t be worried if you cannot see your website yet.
Once your domain name has gone live, we advise that you deactivate your existing website from your server if you have one. This will ensure that your new HugoFox site appears in search engines rather than your previous site. A guide on how to do this is on the next page.

1. To deactivate your hosting, simply login to your Easyspace account as before and click on Renew Services on the left hand side:
2. You will then see a list of all the services you have on the account. Simply click on “Cancel” next to the services you wish to cancel, and then follow the simple on-screen prompts.
